The Passionate and Responsive Individuals for Strategic Internationalization and Sustainable Development in Mindanao (PRISM) is a student-led organization of Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) that promotes international awareness, intercultural understanding, transformative youth leadership, and meaningful participation in sustainable development initiatives.
Aligned with the institution’s internationalization agenda and working closely with the Center for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL), PRISM creates opportunities for students to participate in regional and international programs, leadership development activities, cross-cultural exchanges, civic initiatives, and collaborative learning experiences.
The organization brings together students from diverse academic disciplines and encourages them to expand their global perspectives, develop leadership competencies, appreciate cultural diversity, and contribute meaningfully to local and international communities.
PRISM actively participates in ASEAN engagement programs, Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) activities, entrepreneurial learning opportunities, youth leadership forums, and sustainability initiatives. These experiences connect academic learning with practical applications while strengthening critical thinking, communication, collaboration, social responsibility, and global citizenship.
The organization also advances awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through initiatives that promote quality education, inclusive participation, responsible leadership, intercultural cooperation, and meaningful partnerships.
Through regional networks, international learning experiences, and community-oriented initiatives, PRISM strengthens CMC’s commitment to developing globally competent, ethical, and socially responsive student leaders.

PRISM actively engages in ASEAN cultural and regional cooperation initiatives, international youth leadership programs, intercultural activities, entrepreneurship development, and collaborative educational experiences that strengthen students’ understanding of regional and global issues.
Through participation in YSEALI Learns MOOC Camps, leadership development programs, business and entrepreneurship workshops, cultural exchanges, and regional youth initiatives, PRISM members gain practical insights into leadership, civic participation, innovation, cross-cultural communication, and sustainable community development.
These experiences strengthen the connection between academic learning and real-world engagement, expand students’ professional and intercultural competencies, and encourage meaningful contributions to diverse communities.
PRISM also encourages its members to represent Central Mindanao Colleges in national and international learning environments, develop lasting professional networks, and demonstrate responsible leadership beyond institutional boundaries.
