A Connected Learning Community
Through the Center for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL), CMC advances global engagement through partnership development, mobility programs, research collaboration, global events, and capacity development. Established in October 2022, CIAL serves as the institution’s hub for preparing students for an increasingly interconnected world.
CMC recognizes that globally prepared graduates need competence, cultural awareness, adaptability, international exposure, and collaborative skills.

LIYAG Beyond Borders connects students, faculty, researchers, and institutional partners through meaningful academic and cultural opportunities. It brings together three major programs.
International Academic and Cultural Exchange Program
Creates opportunities for student and faculty exchange, international educational trips, internship abroad, university benchmarking, research mobility, and cultural immersion.
Collaborative Online International Learning
Connects classrooms across borders through virtual exchange, joint learning activities, international webinars, intercultural dialogue, and collaborative academic outputs.
Global Engagement, Research, Innovation, and Sustainability Summit
Brings together global engagement, research, innovation, sustainability, and leadership development through conferences, research colloquia, policy dialogues, forums, and capacity-building activities.
CMC continues to strengthen academic partnerships and mobility opportunities across local and international institutions.
Its documented international engagements include destinations such as South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Shenzhen, China, exposing CMCians to different academic environments, cultures, and professional perspectives.
These initiatives strengthen not only institutional visibility, but also the ability of students and educators to become globally aware, culturally responsive, professionally adaptable, and locally grounded.
