CMC Leads Initial Coordination for the 41st ACSCU-ACI National Assembly

Before a national assembly takes the stage, a shared vision must first take shape.
Before hundreds gather as one, institutions must lead as one.

Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC), as Lead Host, together with Holy Trinity College General Santos (HTC) and Brokenshire College as Co-Hosts, has taken the first major step toward the proposed 41st ACSCU-ACI National Assembly, scheduled for June 15 to 17, 2027, in Davao City

The initial coordination brought the three host institutions together to establish a common direction, define responsibilities, identify priorities, and lay the groundwork for a well-coordinated national gathering anchored in Christian Fellowship, Collaboration, and Academic Excellence.

Discussions covered the proposed Assembly theme and academic framework, hosting and committee responsibilities, venue and accommodation requirements, registration and delegate management, transportation and logistics, technical and documentation needs, speakers and reactors, institutional presentations, fellowship activities, resource generation and sponsorship, budget planning, and risk management.

Central to the preparation is the Master Preparation and Monitoring Dashboard, envisioned as the primary management mechanism for tracking workstreams, institutional responsibilities, focal persons, timelines, progress, budget requirements, risks, and succeeding actions. This system strengthens coordination, accountability, and timely decision-making among the host institutions.

More importantly, preparations remain anchored in the ACSCU-ACI Hosting Guide, which places faith at the heart of every undertaking and calls the host institutions and partner schools to approach the Assembly with Christian fellowship, humility, cooperation, excellence, and service.

CMC also gratefully acknowledges the continuing guidance and support of Dr. Miriam P. Narbarte, President of ACSCU-ACI, and Mr. Angelito P. Pedreño, Executive Director of ACSCU-ACI, as the host institutions begin this important undertaking.

The preparations reflect SDG 4: Quality Education through the advancement of academic exchange and institutional learning, SDG 5: Gender Equality through inclusive participation and equitable opportunities for leadership and engagement, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through meaningful collaboration among Christian higher education institutions.

The preparations may have only begun, but the vision is already clear. Three Institutions. One National Responsibility. One Shared Mission. With CMC taking the lead alongside HTC and Brokenshire College, every plan moves toward a gathering that will strengthen Christian Higher Education, deepen institutional partnerships, and advance excellence through service.

In June 2027, Davao City will not simply host an Assembly. It will welcome a community united in faith, strengthened through fellowship, and called to pursue excellence together. The work begins now. The vision moves forward. And through every step, one guiding truth remains:

ABOVE ALL, PRAYER.

One Team.

One Vision.

One Assembly.

Faith leads. Excellence unites.

CMC moves forward.

ROAR WITH PURPOSE. LEAD WITH FAITH. RISE WITH EXCELLENCE.
