Graduate leadership
becomes stronger when decisions are informed by evidence, sharpened by
analysis, and guided by sound managerial judgment.
Central Mindanao
Colleges continues to strengthen graduate business education as its Master in Business Administration Second
Cohort advances
through Business Analytics for Term B and Managerial Economics for Term C under
the guidance of Dr.
John Vianne Bauya Murcia, an expert faculty member whose
instruction brings data-driven analysis and applied managerial thinking into
the graduate learning experience.
On August 30,2026,
MBA learners began using the New Version of JAMOVI for data analysis
tasks focused on descriptive
analytics. The activity provided learners with practical
exposure to organizing, interpreting, and communicating data in ways that
support evidence-based managerial decision-making.
The session reflected
the continuing direction of CMC graduate education toward applied, technology-enabled, and
data-informed learning. Through tools such as JAMOVI,
graduate students are able to connect concepts with actual analytical processes
and develop the confidence to make decisions grounded in evidence.
Under Dr. Murcia’s
guidance, the learning experience goes beyond mastering software. It
strengthens the discipline to ask better questions, identify patterns,
interpret results critically, and translate data into insights relevant to
management, economics, and organizational decision-making.
For the MBA Second
Cohort, this kind of engagement reinforces an important principle of graduate
education: leadership
is strengthened when knowledge is put into practice.
The learning
engagement advances SDG
4: Quality Education through relevant and
technology-supported graduate instruction, SDG 5: Gender Equality through inclusive
access to advanced business and leadership education, and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth through
the development of analytical and managerial competencies needed in
contemporary organizations.
At CMC, graduate
education is not simply about completing courses. It is about developing
professionals who can read the data, understand the context, make sound
decisions, and lead with clarity.
Competence grows through application.
Mastery deepens through analysis.
CMC develops leaders who turn data into direction.
Choose CMC, where graduate learning sharpens insight,
strengthens leadership, and transforms knowledge into decisions that matter.
