ROARmation 2026 Gathers CMCians, Partner Schools in a Shared ROAR of Faith for Jesus
Spiritual
formation becomes transformative when faith moves beyond words and becomes a
lived response to Jesus, shaping character, renewing purpose, and drawing
people into a deeper community of hope, worship, and service.
KIDAPAWAN
CITY, Philippines | Central Mindanao Colleges, through the CMC Collegiate
Students Supreme Council (CMC CSSC), organized ROARmation: PraiseGen Campus
Connect 2026 on September 9, 2026, at the CMC Students’ Activity Center, under
the theme “Connecting Faith, Community, and Purpose.” The faith-centered
gathering was designed to create a meaningful space for spiritual renewal,
values formation, fellowship, reflection, and stronger community connection.
Developed
in partnership with the PraiseGen Youth Ministry of Sanctuary of Praise
International Church, Kidapawan City, ROARmation brought together participants
from Kidapawan partner schools, CMC student leaders, and employees in a shared
experience of worship, reflection, fellowship, and purposeful engagement. The
concept combines “ROAR” and “Formation,” symbolizing the journey toward
becoming grounded in faith, strengthened in character, and guided by purpose.
The
gathering centered on the power of faith to renew the person from within.
Through praise and worship, reflection, fellowship, and meaningful interaction,
participants were encouraged to pause from academic and professional demands,
reconnect with their spiritual life, and rediscover a deeper sense of purpose
and belonging. With faith-sharing and ministry support from Pastor Franklyn
Areglado and Pastor Leigh Areglado, leaders of the Ministry of Sanctuary of
Praise International Church, the activity strengthened the call to live out
faith not only in worship, but also in character, relationships, and everyday
choices.
ROARmation
2026 was conducted with the full support of the Center for Student Success and
the Center for Human Capital Development and Management, reinforcing a shared
institutional commitment to holistic formation, well-being, values development,
and meaningful community engagement. The activity also advanced
student-development goals related to empathy, integrity, leadership, active
participation, and personal purpose.
The
initiative supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being through spiritual,
emotional, and social wellness; SDG 4: Quality Education through holistic and
values-based formation; SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through
respect, integrity, inclusivity, and responsible participation; and SDG 17:
Partnerships for the Goals through collaboration among students, institutional
units, partner schools, and community partners.
More
than a gathering, ROARmation 2026 became a call to spiritual formation: to know
faith more deeply, to live it more courageously, and to let that faith shape
how one learns, leads, serves, and relates with others.
At
CMC, formation is not complete when knowledge is gained. It becomes more
meaningful when faith gives knowledge direction, character gives leadership
depth, and purpose leads every CMCian to ROAR with conviction for Jesus.
