CIAL Backs CABME Leads Launch Through Global Forum on Network Marketing and Leadership

The College of Accountancy, Business, and Management Education (CABME) of Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC), in partnership with the Center for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL), successfully launched its premier academic enrichment program—CABME Leads: A Semester of Innovation, Leadership, and Global Impact—on July 18, 2025, through the International Symposium on Network Marketing held at the CMC Annex. This kickoff activity brought together 50 selected CABME students for a transformative discussion on network marketing as a contemporary and empowering business model. The initiative, strongly aligned with the institution’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and internationalization, seeks to nurture globally competent, ethically grounded, and innovation-driven student leaders. At the center of the symposium was Ms. Bianca Stanley, guest panelist from Lifestyle Management Group Australia. With three university degrees and over 15 years of experience in corporate leadership across government and private sectors, Ms. Stanley shared her personal journey of pivoting from the corporate world to becoming a global wellness entrepreneur. Her business, which began 12 years ago in the health and fitness sector, now operates in multiple countries with personal investments exceeding $2.5 million USD—a testament to the power of aligning one’s passion with purpose. Joining Ms. Stanley was Mr. Alfe Keith Apalit, an MBA graduate of Ateneo de Davao University and seasoned leader in the network marketing industry. Their engaging panel discussion provided students with actionable insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, branding, and ethical decision-making within the context of direct selling and modern income systems. With the active support of CIAL, the event elevated CMC’s internationalization efforts by incorporating global best practices, entrepreneurial models, and cross-border success stories. The open forum further encouraged students to evaluate innovative income systems and their relevance in today’s evolving market. As the opening salvo of the CABME Leads program, the symposium laid the foundation for a semester of student-led, SDG-aligned, and internationally supported academic activities designed to develop the next generation of business and community leaders. #CABMELeads2025#CMCInternationalization#CIALSupports#NetworkMarketingForum#GlobalLeadership#EntrepreneurshipEducation#SDG3#SDG4#SDG8#SDG9#SDG17 #LifeByDesign

This marked the beginning of a bold new chapter for student leadership in the realm of internationalization and sustainable development. PRISM, the official student arm of the Center for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL), has long been a training ground for globally minded student leaders. Its core mission is rooted in academic diplomacy, strategic partnerships, and the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—not only within the CMC community, but across borders. The ceremony brought together both incoming and outgoing officers, along with their dedicated advisers, in a symbolic passing of the torch—honoring the organization’s legacy while embracing the future. More than a ceremonial rite, the oath-taking served as a powerful declaration of intent: a commitment to global awareness, intercultural engagement, and community-building through strategic linkages. The presence of former PRISM officers provided a strong sense of continuity and inspiration as they shared insights and words of encouragement, reminding the new officers of the enduring values that guide their leadership journey. Both outgoing and incoming advisers emphasized a shared message: PRISM is not just an organization—it is a movement of youth empowered to lead, connect, and make meaningful impact. As CMC continues to strengthen its international collaborations and SDG-aligned initiatives, PRISM remains at the forefront—serving as ambassadors of the institution’s mission for quality education, peace-building, sustainability, and global cooperation. This leadership transition signals the beginning of a vibrant journey. The new PRISM officers are now entrusted to lead with integrity, inspire through action, and connect with purpose—locally and globally. Their oath is more than a promise—it is a bold step forward in transforming vision into reality. PRISM OFFICERS, A.Y. 2025–2026President: Cristoper FernandoVice President for Internal Affairs: Zylene Rose OlbesVice President for External Affairs: Renamarl CabalesSecretary: Sofia Elizabeth SaladanAssistant Secretary: Blessy Faye Pauline CañeteTreasurer: Vanessa Faith PajaroPublic Relations Officer: Ariane Grace BanaisAuditor: Amirhusien BantoSDG Advocacy Coordinator: Allysa Porras MercadoArtistic Coordinator: Kaiser AsubeMembership Development and Recruitment Coordinator: Arnold JamesMedia, Documentation, and Communications Committee: • Janessah Leah Amboludan • Jeric Genobisa • Danie Paul MarañonIntercultural Affairs Coordinator: Arnel Uga #CMCChampions#PRISMLeadership2025#GlobalCitizenship#MissionDrivenLeadership#YouthForSustainability#SDG3 #GoodHealthAndWellBeing#SDG4 #QualityEducation#SDG16 #PeaceJusticeStrongInstitutions#SDG17 #PartnershipsForTheGoals#CMCInternationalization#LeadersOfTomorrow#CMCLinkages#StudentDiplomacy#EmpoweredYouth#ThinkGlobalActLocal #TransformingVisionIntoReality

CMC Leads a Bold Reaffirmation of the SDG Commitment Cards

C – CommitM – MobilizeC – ChampionCMC Leads a Bold Reaffirmation of the SDG Commitment Cards“What begins as a simple act today becomes a legacy tomorrow.” At Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC), advocacy is not an occasional campaign. It is a sustained culture. As early adopters of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), CMC has long stood at the forefront of meaningful action.  Now, with renewed purpose, the institution marks a reaffirmation of this ongoing mission through the strengthened launch of the SDG Commitment Cards, held on July 14, 2025. Under the leadership of Ms. Desiree Gayramara, Coordinator of the Center for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL), this milestone is more than a ceremonial act. It is a bold declaration that CMC remains deeply committed to shaping responsible, action-driven global citizens. “This isn’t starting over. It’s stepping forward, stronger,” said Ms. Gayramara. “We are reaffirming what we have always stood for: that change is personal, and it begins with each of us.” The initiative, grounded in the call to Commit, Mobilize, and Champion, once again unites the entire CMC community. From students to staff, faculty to administrators, everyone shares the mission to live out the SDGs in real, practical ways. Each Commitment Card is not just a formality. It is a visible, daily reminder of what it means to be a CMCIan: someone who chooses action over apathy and responsibility over rhetoric. “The SDGs aren’t just global numbers. They’re human values,” Ms. Gayramara added. “Every signature is a pledge to act, to lead, to care.” Cards are now displayed proudly across CMC’s offices, classrooms, student centers, and institutes. Their presence signals a vibrant movement reborn, a reaffirmation not only of goals but of identity, purpose, and community. Each SDG Commitment Card at CMC represents a personal and collective vow to uphold all 17 Sustainable Development Goals. It begins with ending poverty and hunger, and includes promoting health, education, and gender equality. It affirms dedication to clean water and energy, decent work, and innovation. It calls for reduced inequalities, sustainable communities, responsible consumption, and urgent climate action. It defends life on land and below water and demands peace, justice, and strong partnerships. These cards are more than a gesture. They are a daily promise to act with purpose and live with impact. This moment strengthens CMC’s evolving role as a champion of inclusive education, environmental responsibility, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. With every card signed and every goal embraced, CMC reclaims its place as a college of conscience and impact. So if you’re ready to stand for something bigger,If you believe education must lead to transformation,If you believe action speaks louder than intention,Choose CMC. “From the classroom to the community, from the personal to the planetary, this is how we create change.” ELTM, CMSCO #ChooseCMC #CMCForTheGoals#GlobalExcellence #SDGChampions#SustainableCMC #ActForChange#FromRootsToGlobalReach #SDGReaffirmation #EducationForSustainability #CMCIansForImpact
