CIAL Backs CABME Leads Launch Through Global Forum on Network Marketing and Leadership

The College of Accountancy, Business, and Management Education (CABME) of Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC), in partnership with the Center for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL), successfully launched its premier academic enrichment program—CABME Leads: A Semester of Innovation, Leadership, and Global Impact—on July 18, 2025, through the International Symposium on Network Marketing held at the CMC Annex.

This kickoff activity brought together 50 selected CABME students for a transformative discussion on network marketing as a contemporary and empowering business model. The initiative, strongly aligned with the institution’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and internationalization, seeks to nurture globally competent, ethically grounded, and innovation-driven student leaders.

At the center of the symposium was Ms. Bianca Stanley, guest panelist from Lifestyle Management Group Australia. With three university degrees and over 15 years of experience in corporate leadership across government and private sectors, Ms. Stanley shared her personal journey of pivoting from the corporate world to becoming a global wellness entrepreneur. Her business, which began 12 years ago in the health and fitness sector, now operates in multiple countries with personal investments exceeding $2.5 million USD—a testament to the power of aligning one’s passion with purpose.

Joining Ms. Stanley was Mr. Alfe Keith Apalit, an MBA graduate of Ateneo de Davao University and seasoned leader in the network marketing industry. Their engaging panel discussion provided students with actionable insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, branding, and ethical decision-making within the context of direct selling and modern income systems.

With the active support of CIAL, the event elevated CMC’s internationalization efforts by incorporating global best practices, entrepreneurial models, and cross-border success stories. The open forum further encouraged students to evaluate innovative income systems and their relevance in today’s evolving market.

As the opening salvo of the CABME Leads program, the symposium laid the foundation for a semester of student-led, SDG-aligned, and internationally supported academic activities designed to develop the next generation of business and community leaders.
