On
August 15, 2025, alongside the Connect 2025 Job Fair at Central Mindanao
Colleges (CMC), the College of Accountancy and Business Management Education
(CABME) Student Council spearheaded the Alumni Kumustahan: Reconnect, Reflect,
Advance, a meaningful gathering designed to strengthen ties between graduates
and the institution.
The
Kumustahan provided a platform for CABME alumni to reconnect with former
classmates, faculty, and the college community, fostering a spirit of
camaraderie and belonging. It also encouraged reflection on their personal and
professional journeys since leaving CMC, highlighting achievements, challenges,
and lessons learned along the way.
True
to its theme, the event emphasized advancement by opening conversations about
opportunities for professional growth, industry trends, and ways alumni can
continue contributing to the success of the college and its current students.
Alumni shared their stories and insights, inspiring the younger generation to
pursue their careers with resilience and passion.
Held
in synergy with the Connect 2025 Job Fair, the activity also aligned with
Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by
creating avenues for collaboration, mentorship, and employment opportunities.
It demonstrated CABMEโs commitment not only to student development but also to
building an active and supportive alumni network.
The
Alumni Kumustahan served as a testament to CABMEโs vision of nurturing lifelong
connections, proving that being a CMCian is not just a chapter in oneโs
academic journey but a lifelong identity that continues to inspire and advance
both individuals and the institution.
