CMC Welcomes Alumni Beneficiaries of JobStart Philippines Program

Empowering CMC Graduates Through Technical Training and Internship Opportunities

Central Mindanao Colleges, in its continuous commitment to graduate employability and youth development, proudly welcomed three alumni beneficiaries under the JobStart Philippines Program during a brief ceremony held at the CMC Main Campus.

JobStart Philippines is a flagship program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), designed to enhance the employability of young Filipinos by offering life skills training, technical training, internships, and possible employment opportunities. Implemented in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office Kidapawan, the program helps bridge the gap between education and employment, especially for fresh graduates.

The following CMC alumni have been selected as JobStart beneficiaries:

Ms. Kaye Ronquillo, a fresh graduate of the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, who is now assigned at the CMC Library;

Ms. Glaiza Lanaja, a 2024 graduate of Bachelor of Science in Criminology, now placed at the Center for Job Placement; and

Mr. Christian Dave Pinantao, a 2024 graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science, who will be undergoing training at the Institute for Quality Assurance and Excellence.

These young professionals will be undergoing a structured training-to-employment process that includes technical training and internship experience within their assigned departments. Should they perform well during their placement, they may be considered for full employment—opening the door to sustainable career growth.

This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, as it supports inclusive, equitable, and accessible learning and employment pathways for youth. CMC continues to support programs that build the capacity of its graduates to thrive in both local and global work environments.

CMC congratulates Ms. Ronquillo, Ms. Lanaja, and Mr. Pinantao as they begin this new journey—not only as alumni, but as professionals who embody the values of excellence, integrity, and service.

We are proud of you and excited to see you shine in your respective fields. Welcome back to your CMC family!
