Highlighting
Central Mindanao Colleges’ (CMC) commitment to global engagement, the Center
for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL) joined the College of
Accountancy, Business, and Management Education (CABME) during the Feasibility
Study orientation to introduce an exciting international dimension to the
course. Through the International Academic and Cultural Exchange (I ACE): LIYAG
Program, select students will have the opportunity to broaden their
perspectives by participating in international student mobility activities
aligned with their feasibility study projects.
The
active participation of CIAL in the orientation session signaled a meaningful
integration of internationalization into the CABME curriculum. Students were
informed about unique cross-border learning opportunities that would enable
them to connect their local innovations with global contexts—significantly
enriching their academic and entrepreneurial experience.
With
this strategic collaboration, the Feasibility Study course not only prepares
students to become leaders of local enterprise but also empowers them to think
globally and act locally. The involvement of CIAL ensures that CABME students
are exposed to diverse insights, international best practices, and a broader
platform to pitch their business ideas with relevance beyond the borders of
Cotabato.
This
infusion of a global lens into a community-centered course underscores CABME’s
pursuit of quality instruction, responsive curriculum design, and values-based
education. As CIAL continues to open international doors for CMC students,
CABME remains steadfast in building a new generation of entrepreneurial leaders
who are globally connected and locally committed.
